Lawrence Lithography Workshop
The Belger Arts Center will feature prints from the Lawrence Lithography Workshop (LLW).
LLW was founded by Mike Sims in Lawrence, Kansas, in 1979. Since 2001, the print
shop has operated out of the Belger Studio Warehouse complex at 21st Street and Tracy
Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. LLW has collaborated with more than 130 artists over
the years, including prominent locals such as Peregrine Honig, Archie Scott Gobber,
Roger Shimomura, and Warren Rosser. Other artists who have printed artwork at LLW
include Akio Takamori, William T. Wiley, Robert Stackhouse and Luis Jimenez.
